This training model is based on a growing body of research, which shows that job seekers and employees are more successful when they receive soft skills training and positive first-time work experiences.
Here’s how it works:
Rethinking Careers is a 28 hour workshop that teaches workplace communication, decision making, problem solving, and building credibility.
The Work Experience is a 200 hour opportunity at a local business, nonprofit, or governmental organization similar to an internship. Every work experience includes hands-on training to prepare young adults for full-time employment.
Evaluations are conducted every 50 hours during the 200 hours experience.
